  • Online Promotional Opportunities
    • Interactive Listings: CVB members will receive a listing to include one image and a brief description. Based on your level of membership, you may be eligible to post additional photos and text.
    • The Map Network: Three interactive maps have been developed for the Greenville CVB. The maps offer members a great mapping solution, pin-pointing your locations and providing contact information along with a brief description.
    • Member Extranet: Allows members to view their current profile in their Industry Partner record in Destination 3000. Members can edit their profile, contact information and publication listings. Members can also view, edit and add events to the CVB Calendar of Events database and create special offers within the Extranet.
  • Receive Qualified Business Leads: Members receive pre-qualified leads of travel agencies, tour operators, conventions, tradeshows along with other meetings throughout the year that have requested information on meeting facilities, as well as car rental agencies, transportation, special events, hotel accommodations and restaurants. Members will have the opportunity to respond and bid on the potential business that the CVB brings to Greenville and the Upcountry.
  • Access to Convention Calendar: Members will receive advanced notice of over 125 annual meetings, tradeshows and groups that choose to meet in Greenville and the Upcountry, giving you the opportunity to contact them directly in order to promote your business’ services and events. The Convention Calendar is updated monthly on our website and is password-protected, exclusively for member access.
  • Receive Quarterly Convention Services Mailing: The mailing gives members a 3-month outlook of future group business, and includes welcome signs, resumes, a convention calendar and an introduction letter from our director of convention services.
  • Visitors Center Exposure: The CVB operates a Visitors Center at City Hall in downtown Greenville as well as a Mobile Visitors Center, located at various meeting facilities, trade shows, and downtown on the weekends. Your brochures will be displayed at these locations and available for visitors.
  • Out-of-Market Promotional Opportunities: In order to reach key decision-makers across the United States and around the world, the CVB participates in travel and tourism related tradeshows throughout the year, conducting ongoing advertising and direct mail promotions.
  • Business Referrals: Members will receive business referrals based on visitors’ requests for specific services.
  • Receive CVB member publications. The CVB publishes a fall and spring newsletter each year, outlining CVB and travel and tourism events and announcements. The newsletters are supplemented with e-newsletters throughout the year in order to keep members updated on industry happenings. Also, the CVB produces an Annual Report, which informs members and partners about tourism events and trends in Greenville and the Upcountry along with insight into the coming year.
  • Attend Annual CVB events: The CVB hosts two annual events. The Annual Meeting in June features a prominent speaker and allows members and partners to gain insight on exciting tourism-related topics. The CVB Holiday Breakfast in December gives members and partners an opportunity to network with fellow colleagues in the travel and tourism industry.
